This glam bag is on point! Love the colours and the bohemian look of this bag.
This month’s products are:
Got this blush in the shade tango. A very beautiful pink that suits a lot of skin tones. Definitely a great blush to add to my collection and will most probably be summer staple. Sells for USD$15.00 on the Hikari website.
Like how this product is not sticky and the moisture lasts long. Pretty standard for a lip balm but of course, a girl can never have too many lip balms so this is another lip balm that will go to either one of my purses or bedside. This lip balm sells originally for USD$29.75 (Big Kiss Gift Set – 5 lip balms in a set) and on currently on sale for USD$25.00.
Got this in the shade cuddle and I love it! The product doesn’t have a weird smell, the sparkles are just enough and not too overpowering. The candy coated look is definitely achievable when this product is used and I love how this sits on my lips making it look healthier and fuller. Sells for USD$13.00 on the Starlooks website.
Okay so around a couple of weeks ago I got an email from Ipsy asking if I am seeing “black spots” on my eye primer. I guess some subscribers who received the Mica Beauty Eye Primer were worried about the product that they got since they are seeing the spots so few questions / concerns were raised to Ipsy customer service. Personally, mine didn’t have that. Also, on Ipsy’s email, it says there that “Mica Beauty has confirmed that all individual ingredients were checked by a certified lab and approved for safety.” Glad Mica Beauty had that straightened out because I really like this primer. Mica Beauty further explains that “any marks you’re seeing in or on the product are the result of bubbles produced during the production cooling process which could take on a greenish / blackish tint.”
Okay, so here’s why I like this primer. I usually use an eye primer since my lids are oily and I have hooded eye lids and my lids rub when it folds – Asian problems ^_^ I like how this gives me an even colour on my lids and this makes my eyeshadows look vibrant. But when it comes to longevity, the shadows crease on me. I find that other eye primers make my shadows more long wearing but having said that, I still like this Mica Beauty Eye Primer for days when I am only out for a few hours. Yes, I won’t count on this for a bullet proof all day / night wear but I will definitely use this on a daily running errands type of day, date night, shopping or even lunch out with friends, just not a long wear type of thing, if I’m making any sense and I hope I do 🙂 Sells for USD$44.95 on the Mica Beauty website.
Ipsy has the singles on their glam bags and I got mine in the shade fit. Very pretty shimmering coppery shade that is perfect for everyday. I have been a fan of The Balm Cosmetics and this palette is definitely something that’s great to have in your collection. The palette sells for USD$36.00 on The Balm Cosmetics website.
