Hope everyone had a great holiday! I am so sorry I was gone for a long time since I tried to disconnect myself from the internet as much as I can while I am with family and friends during Christmas and New Year. Your forgiveness is greatly appreciated and I am so happy I’m back again! 🙂
With all the crazy December 2014-January 2015 holidays, parties and get togethers, I found myself constantly using these lippies:
Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Matte Lip Colour in Eloise which is a ballerina pink, Isolde which is a nude mauve and Claudine which is a very pretty nude. These three lippies are my everyday purse lipsticks. The colours are neutral enough to wear to work and of course, they match whatever eye make up so generally very easy to work with. The formula is very smooth and it is definitely not drying at all. It is very comfortable on the lips and what I like about these aside from the awesome formula is the sleek packaging. Love! The Lippies sell for around US$24.00 each and you can also find Becca Cosmetics under Hautelook every so often depending on the event as well as from Sephora.
These two Nano Lip Liners from Sephora are a big surprise for me. I didn’t think I would like these but the colours and the formula are both great. The lasting power is good enough but it definitely is not long wearing. I don’t mind reapplying since it is only CAD$9.oo each and I don’t feel guilty when I sharpen them. Just a great lip liner to add to your collection too and I am definitely getting more colours.
The Too Faced Perfect Lips Lip Liner in Perfect Spice and the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Velvet are the too very different colours that you can put on your lips but as a combo – perfection! This is something that I never thought I’d like paired together but when I tried it, I’ve been using non-stop! The vibrance of this rose pink Velvet Pencil gives life to the dusty rose hue of Perfect Spice. A must try and I HIGHLY recommend! Perfect Spice sells for CAD$22.00 at Sephora and you can get Velvet there too for CAD$28.00.
This is a very happy month for my lips. I have good lip products and you also can mix and match them according to your day’s mood. So excited now to see what I can find in February 2015 and I think this year will be a good make up year!
Thanks for stopping by!
