My hair has been dreading treatment – I mean it! Not only does it feel dry, my ends look horrible too! I blame it on the weather! Bah! During winter season, my hair tends to get extremely dry since where I am gets terribly cold. In summertime, my hair’s not too bad but of course, humidity strikes.
I have been testing this product out, the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque. I was so excited since I know my hair needs a little more TLC since I do a lot of heating and styling. The tools that I am using are good though, just mostly the weather factor and the water where I usually am is not that good for my hair. I love how this has a subtle fresh / fruity scent (I am really bad with describing scents, but this one smells really good!).
Since I used this deep repair masque, my hair’s been feeling a lot healthier and shinier. My ends are not as prominent and when I run my fingers through, there are less tangles making it feel silkier.
On the website it says:
Macadamia Natural Oil includes: Macademia Oil is very rich in essential fatty acids. It has the distinctive feature of resembling sebum. The replication of natural oils our scalp produces are for protection. Thus, these factors making it an ideal enriching& replenishing agent with rapid absorption.Argan Oil consists Omega 9, Linoleic, Oleic, and unsaturated fatty acids. These nutrients are very beneficial in improving hair strength and health.
I tried two ways of application:
1.) Washing my hair with my choice of shampoo, applying the masque and letting it sit for about an hour in a shower cap or whatever hair cover you have. I find that an hour is enough for me. It will of course depend on your hair if you want to let it sit for less than an hour. Rinse the masque and apply conditioner, rinse, dry and style.
2.) The other method is to apply the masque on dry (dirty) hair. Comb it through and make sure that the product is evenly distributed. Cover hair with a shower cap or your choice of hair cover and let it sit depending on how damaged your hair is, I leave mine for about an hour. Then shampoo, condition, dry and style as usual.
The model below has some serious dry and dead ends. Used the Macadamia Masque on her twice a week for two weeks and the result is amazing! The change in texture and smoothness is very evident. See before and after photos below:

I highly recommend this product. But of course, if you think that this is pricey – $32.99 (on sale for $28.99) at Flatironexperts, you can always try some DIY hair mask. I will do a separate blog on how I deep condition my hair using a DIY hair mask / deep conditioner.
