Been a loooooong while since I posted something. Too much stuff going on and life had a lot of unexpected movement so there I was, doing things and meeting deadlines. Anyway, I am back with a very exciting post to share. I recently found a new favourite. Something that both my husband and I enjoy to wear. We each both got a pair of Timberland boots but not the more popular type for heavy outdoors and hiking. What we got are two leather Timberland black boots, suitable for a casual and a more dressed up look. His is a lace-up bootie and mine is a tall pair. Both are very comfortable and wearable. Perfect for fall and winter.
My husband’s boots, he said, are very comfortable and easy to walk in. The sole is a sturdy rubber and slip proof. He can pull the pair off with a suit or with a casual jeans. The boots also leave a warm and protected feeling on his feet. He is not a shoe lover type of person but this pair is something that he genuinely likes.
The detail on the boots is really nice. I love the quality of the insole and how his feet sit in the boots.
Really beautiful stitching detail.
Closer look at the shoe lace.
Now, I am a girl with thick legs (yeah I know) and for some reasons, this pair of tall boots make my legs look slimmer. One reason why I love this pair is because I can wear them with skinny jeans, leggings or even skirts. The pair is very stylish and versatile.
Look at that pretty detail!
Here are the boots side by side:
There’s a lot of Timberlands to choose from on their Timberland website. Ours were purchased from Hautelook where we get amazing discounts from different sale events. Hautelook has been one of my favourite shopping sites since the items sold there are very affordable and they are affiliated with Nordstrom. A total of about USD$160.00 for the two pairs of boots is a great deal versus paying the full rate that is about USD$300.00. The savings is about 50% and who doesn’t want that? Make sure to check out Hautelook and take advantage of their winter and holiday sales!
Hope everyone’s having a great holiday so far. Merry Chrsitmas and God bless us this new year!
